1969 - A Year To Remember
1969 it was a very big year for change - not all of it good - and the flow on...
One of the world’s biggest gay icons is coming to Melbourne! Boy George, the former lead singer of the Culture Club and now internationally recognised as one of the leading DJs in the world, is packing his record bag and hitting The Metro exclusively for one night only.
Boy George is an icon in anyone’s books. On Friday March 2 he will be taking to the decks at The Metro Nightclub for his first Australian performance in almost a decade.
There is very little to write about Boy George that hasn’t alreday been written. the singer of classic songs like “Do You Really Want To Hurt Me?” and “Karma Chamelon” turned his hand to DJing in the early 90s and has carved a niche for himself as one of the most creative DJs around, playing a progressive style of funky house that has won him fans the world over.
Boy George will be supported by a host of local DJs, watch this space for more information.
