For the first time ever, the people who bring you DTPM Sydney are about to unleash a new party onto the scene, designed to change everything that you know about your long weekends. On Saturday October 3 of the long weekend, we’re proud to be throwing the first ever gay party at Ivy Pool.

If you haven’t seen it before, mere words cannot do the Ivy Pool any justice. Situated on the top floor of the Ivy complex in the city, sunshine streams onto a central pool surrounded by luxurious cabanas, day beds, dancefloors and a sound system that will wake up the neighbours. Designed within an inch of perfection, the Ivy Pool will be all ours for the first time for a brand new day party called Bananas in Cabanas on the Saturday of the long weekend.

As well as the outdoor Pool, take a few steps underneath it and you enter the Locker Room, a nightclub meets changing room that brings new meaning to its name. This space needs to be enjoyed to be believed, and at Bananas in Cabanas we’ll be doing just that. The October Long Weekend is the start of the Summer partying season, and this year the Party is moving outdoors to the hottest poolside location in the country.

DJs around the pool at Bananas in Cabanas will be playing the best Summer house on the market, whilst the Locker Room will be rocking out with electro that’ll have you wet again in no time. Bananas in Cabanas is the hottest new addition to the long weekend line-up in years, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

Bananas in Cabanas is brought to you by the same people who first unleashed DTPM onto Sydney almost five years ago. Bananas in Cabanas is on from midday to 8pm on Saturday October 3 of the October Long Weekend. Tickets to Bananas in Cabanas are $49 plus booking fee.
