To complete their 2011 season, PACT centre for emerging artists are proud to present their annual Ensemble production. Prepare to be BEGUILED.
We share a universal drive to believe in the potential of magic, a desire to explain the inexplicable, to overcome the impossible, to achieve our destiny. This desire is our companion. It has travelled through time with us and continually shapes our lives. A performance installation and experience created by the PACT Ensemble 2011, BEGUILED offers audiences the choice to shift the shape of their habitual perception.
“Even from the audition night I knew we were on a surreal adventure” explains co-director &PACT artistic director, Cat Jones. “The performance work this ensemble creates always takes me by surprise. I can never predict the kind of ideas that they bring or they way they will express them. They are quirky and off-beat. They have an incredible breadth of form – visual, sculptural, poetic, experiential. They are deeply imaginative.”
